Teresa Fausti - Co-Founder and Partner Walla Walla Food Tours Teresa is a Walla Walla resident whose family has deep roots in the community, beginning in the early 1900s when her great-grandfather migrated from northern Italy to Walla Walla and began the family farm.

It brings her great joy to see Walla Walla Food Tours sharing the expansive, diverse history – and exceptional artists of all forms, food and wine talents – the town has to offer.

She also spends her time as a book and film writer, along with providing marketing and PR for her national high-tech, wireless, VR, artificial intelligence and digital media entertainment  and food robotics clients through her company Fausti Communications.

Teresa sits on the advisory board of the annual Walla Walla Movie Crush Festival. She supports causes involving the protection of animals and bringing hope and independence to brain injury victims and those physically challenged.

She is an award-winning and high-energy public relations, corporate communications and branding executive providing strategic and tactical execution that spans the virtual reality (VR), telecommunications, digital entertainment, wireless, Internet, high-tech, venture capital, and healthcare industries.

Developed, grown and led corporate communications, branding and public relations departments/programs for large global organizations, start-up companies and international public relations agencies.

Founded, built and served as CEO of pr.com (prdot.com), a highly effective 22-person company that served wireless, Internet, telecommunications clients, investment firms and industry associations.  pr.com (prdot.com) was successfully acquired  by a global agency.

Past and current clients include: VRstudios, Tom Skerritt’s Heyou Media, Clearwire, Craig McCaw’s Eagle River Investments, T-Mobile, Microsoft, SAP, McCaw Cellular Communications, Teledesic, Ignition Partners, Picnic, Cardiac Insight.

Teresa has a degree in Technical Journalism with minors in counseling psychology and life science from Oregon State University.

A Walla Walla resident since December of 2015, Dakota immediately grew an admiration and love for the town’s sense of pride, community and connectivity. Prior to moving to Walla Walla, Dakota and her family  lived in Seattle and Puyallup, where she worked for the United States Coast Guard as an Electrician’s Mate Third Class Petty Officer.

Craving more family connection and small-town charm, she and her family made their way for Walla Walla. Eventually Dakota found herself visiting establishments that lead her back to her customer service and hospitality roots. Aside from Dakota’s time in the Coast Guard, she always worked in some form of customer service and hospitality throughout her career.

Starting at The Vine, a fine dining restaurant within the iconic Cameo Heights Mansion, and moving into the wine industry, first at Charles Smith Wines and currently with Walla Walla Vintners, Dakota loves hospitality. Not only does she like meeting the diverse and  interesting people in the industry, but she enjoys educating people on ways she can aid them in satisfying their needs and wants.

Dakota’s goal is to always be great, and aid our clients in acquiring the unique treasures of Walla Walla with our curated gift boxes, tours and upcoming products to be announced in 2024

Dakota is married to Keith and has two beautiful children Ellie and Killian.
